Introducing Vented Chainsaw Trousers for European Arborists, Built for Warm Conditions

Vented Chainsaw Trousers — Built for UK & European Arborists

A Considered Evolution

You may have already seen our Vented trousers out in the US. The response spoke for itself. Arborists wanted that same airflow. The same relief on hot days. The same reduction in heat build-up and fatigue. But built to meet European standards.

This is a considered evolution, developed specifically for European arborists, European conditions and the standards required to wear them on site.

Vented is our lightweight, ventilated chainsaw trouser designed for working in warm conditions. The aim is simple. Reduce heat. Reduce fatigue. Support performance across a full day's work.

Because when the temperature rises, the job does not get any easier.

"It is not just about comfort. It affects movement, concentration and how long you can keep working at your best."

The Problem With Heat

Anyone who works through warm conditions knows how quickly heat starts to affect the day. It is not just comfort. It affects movement, concentration and how long you can keep working at your best.

Over time, heavy and restrictive kit only adds to that load. It traps heat, builds fatigue and turns long days into harder ones. It is something many have simply learned to work through.

Vented is built to change that.

Where the Airflow Comes From

At the core of the trouser is airflow. Four large rear ventilation panels, built from 300g military-grade polyamide mesh, are designed to keep air moving where it matters most. Rear waist vents are positioned carefully to avoid interference from blocking material, so breathability stays consistent throughout the day.

The construction is lighter, with a looser leg profile that encourages airflow without compromising durability. If you prefer a closer fit, sizing down is a simple option. An extra-stretch crotch panel supports climbing, bending and dynamic movement, whether you are in the canopy or on the ground.

Built Around Four Principles
01

Airflow

Four large rear ventilation panels in 300g military-grade polyamide mesh keep air moving consistently throughout the day.

02

Lightweight

At around 1kg, a looser leg profile and lighter construction keeps weight down without sacrificing field-ready durability.

03

Full Protection

Certified to Design A, Class 1 (20 m/s), BS EN ISO 11393-2:2019. Kevlar-reinforced knees. No compromises.

04

Handcrafted

Each pair is handcrafted in Portugal — premium materials, skilled hands and rigorous quality control at every stage.

You Notice It Later in the Day

It is the kind of trouser you notice later in the day. When you are still moving freely hours in. Still focused. Still comfortable enough to keep going without your kit becoming a distraction.

That is where the difference shows.

Protection That Has Not Been Compromised

Protection remains a given. The trousers are certified to Design A, Class 1 (20 m/s), meeting BS EN ISO 11393-2:2019, alongside BS EN ISO 13688:2013 + A1:2021. Reinforced seams strengthen high-tension areas, while Kevlar-reinforced knees provide durability where the job is hardest on your kit.

Nothing has been taken away. It has been refined where it counts.

Details That Follow the Same Thinking

Downward-facing YKK pocket zips make access easier when wearing a harness. Protective placards help keep debris out and extend zip life. Storage is practical and straightforward, with two cargo pockets and front pockets covering what you need day to day.

An adjustable waistband with a high back improves comfort and coverage, while an elasticated boot lace hook keeps the trousers securely positioned. Elasticated ankles finish the fit cleanly. At around 1kg, they remain lightweight without sacrificing the durability expected on site.

Built From Demand

Each pair is handcrafted in Portugal, where decades of expertise, premium materials and hands-on quality control come together at every stage of construction. It is a level of care that ensures consistency, reliability and a finish that stands up to the demands of professional arboriculture, season after season.

If you are working long, warm days, climbing regularly or simply tired of trousers that hold heat and work against you, this is where Vented comes into its own.

This did not come from guesswork. It came from demand, from conversations and from listening to how the job is actually done.

Now it is here, built for European standards and ready for the conditions you work in every day.
