Arbortec Clothing Size Guide
Finding the right size for your Arbortec protective apparel and footwear is essential for comfort, safety and peak performance. This page provides clear measuring instructions and dedicated size charts for trousers, tops, jackets, boots, gloves and socks. You’ll also find guidance on selecting the appropriate size across UK, US, and EU standards. 1. Trousers Size Charts
Below you will find detailed size charts for all our chainsaw protective trousers. Each table displays waist and leg length in centimetres and inches to help you select the ideal fit for Arborflex, Breatheflex, Breatheflex Pro, Freestyle, Realtree and Vented styles.
Waist
Measure around your natural waistline at the level where your trousers normally sit ensuring the tape remains horizontal all the way round.
Leg Length
From your crotch point measure down the inside of your leg to the ankle bone.
Low Hip-Thigh
Measure around the widest part of your hips, which is typically 18 to 20 centimetres below your waist. Then measure around the fullest part of your upper thigh for a comfortable fit through the leg.

i) Men’s Trousers (UK / EU)
This includes our full Arbortec trouser range Arborflex, Breatheflex, and Breatheflex Pro with UK and EU standard size measurements.
ii) Men’s Trousers (US)
This covers all UL rated Breatheflex Pro trouser sizes presented in US standard measurements.
ii) Freestyle Trousers (UK)
From the same family as our industry recognised Breatheflex Pro the Freestyle trousers are loaded with additional features including a new stretchy outer material for enhanced mobility. The chart shows UK standard measurements for waist and inside leg plus thigh circumference for optimum freedom of movement.
iv) Vented Trousers (US)
Vented pants combine the durability protection and style of our renowned Breatheflex Pro UL chainsaw trousers with advanced ventilation panels for maximum breathability. The table provides US standard measurements in inches detailing waist inseam and thigh width so that you can keep cool without sacrificing safety.
v) Female Trousers (UK / US / EU)
These are Arbortec Breatheflex women’s trousers exclusively designed and built to fit the female form. The chart includes UK US and EU size equivalents with hip waist and inside leg measurements tailored to a lower rise narrower waist at larger sizes and proportionally wider hips to accommodate curves without compromising on protection.

2. Tops & Jackets
This section covers Arbortec jackets, smocks, T shirts, and hoodies in UK US and EU sizes.
Chest
Wrap a flexible tape under your arms around the fullest part of your chest keeping the tape level and snug without constricting.
Bust
Measure around the fullest part of the bust while keeping the tape level across the back. This is particularly useful when selecting jackets, smocks and tops designed for women.
Sleeve Length
With your arm relaxed at your side, measure from the centre back of your neck over the top of your shoulder and down to your wrist.

i)Men’s Tops (UK / US / EU)
Includes Breatheflex jackets, durable smocks ,and casual T shirts.
ii) Women’s Tops (UK / US / EU)
Tailored jackets smocks and T shirts with a slightly narrower shoulder profile and tapered waist.
3. Boots Size Chart
Our chainsaw rated boots are available in UK US and EU sizes. Use the foot length and width measurements from our Measuring Guide to find the correct size. If you fall between sizes we recommend choosing the larger size for comfort when wearing socks.
Foot Length
Stand with weight evenly distributed then measure from the back of your heel to the tip of your longest toe.
Foot Width
Measure across the widest part of your foot from one side to the other.

4. Gloves
All Arbortec gloves are unisex. Consult the chart below using your hand circumference and hand length measurements to determine the correct glove size for optimum dexterity and protection.
Hand Circumference
Wrap the tape around your palm just below the knuckles excluding the thumb.
Hand Length
Measure from the base of your palm to the tip of your middle finger.

5. Socks
Protective socks are listed in UK US and EU sizes. They are designed to fit comfortably under trousers and boots without bunching or restricting movement.
Low Socks
Low socks are ankle-height socks that sit just above the shoe line. They are ideal for everyday wear and casual work environments.
High Socks
High socks extend up to just below the knee. These are recommended for use with chainsaw boots to provide added comfort protection and support during extended wear.
