Favorite climbing system? SRS. Rope wrench and hitch!

 

What is your favorite tree? My favourite tree for looks is an Eastern Redbud.

My favourite tree for climbing is probably a Tulip tree.

 

Highest tree you have climbed?

The highest tree I have climbed is probably a Tulip tree in Niagara Gorge in Ontario which is anywhere between 100’-120’, but have never officially measured it.

 

Have you had any close calls? If yes, what happened?

Had a close call and it was when I left my tie-in in a stem I was removing. It was a crane removal, and I had the first cut in, and was about to start my second cut, when a coworker informed me, calmly in our communication headsets, that I had missed that. So before finishing the cut I removed my tie in.

 

What is your hidden talent? Don’t think I have any hidden talents.

 

When you’re not climbing trees what are your other interest/hobbies.?

I love playing ice hockey, snowmobiling, kayaking, canoeing, sitting in a hammock and just relaxing outside when it’s nice out!
