first of all, pulling these out of the bag i could tell i had never seen anything like these before. Fit is perfect. I have a short inseem so i waited for the back order and it was worth the wait. These don’t pull me down like my heavy chaps do when i am climbing over felled trees. Freedom of movement in the woods over varied rough terrain is super easy now. I clean them off with compressed air and hang on the line to air out and do it again.

Worn twice during Appalachian Trail trail maintenance and blowdown clearing sessions. The fit is great and they held up well in some rough conditions. One trip occurred with weather conditions in 90 degree F heat and very high humidity. The cooling features helped, but were barely enough. I would heartily recommend the AT4060 trousers to anyone doing heavy ground work in all but the most extreme temperature conditions.

Im not a professional Arborist, I do however spend alot of time with a chainsaw clearing woodlot and prepping for winter. Ive always used chaps, and while chaps still have their place, the arbortech pants are stunning. The flexibiity, breathability, wraparound class 1 lower protection which is ultimately better at managing fussing around in close quarters in brush without getting hooked up on things(chaps have lots of straps..) I was shocked how much easier my workday was with these pants. Literally I used them for three days straight because they were so damn comfy and perfect.

These pants are exceptionally well-made, featuring high-quality materials and durable seams. While I'm not accustomed to such a slim fit, the sizing chart was accurate for my 31" waist, placing me perfectly in a size small. Though the fit will take some getting used to, the stretchiness of the fabric ensures complete freedom of movement without any restrictions.
