The event is essential for the forestry, woodland, and tree care industries. It’s also relevant for the farming industry with a dedicated fencing village and machinery and equipment made for small woodlands, adding value to small parcels of timber and individual trees. The event emphasizes the production and use of timber as wood fuel, like firewood and wood chips, and presents biomass boilers.

More than 320 exhibitors and 40,000 visitors are expected to take part. 95% of them are trade professionals. This high number of visitors shows that the industry recognises the show as the main event to explore and buy new equipment. The show will also feature exhibitors from as far away as Japan and America, making it a major international event. The value of machines on display is estimated to be around £80 million.

This year, there will be more competitions and events than ever before, including the World Pole Climbing Championships, the European Chainsaw Carving Championships, the British Open Tree Climbing Competition, the McVeigh Parker UK Open Fencing Championships, and the popular return of the UK Forwarder Driving Championships. The Forest Worker and the Arb Workers zones will have a wide variety of daily practical demos and workshops, as well as others focusing on training. The event will also feature the UK’s largest and most varied demonstrations of traditional woodland crafts, horse logging, and, new for 2024, Axe Throwing!

We can’t wait to see you there,
