The outer Skin can also be worn as a stand-alone work trouser when chainsaw protection is not necessary.
Layer 01: The Skin Interchangeable Outer
The Arborflex 'SKINS' give you total flexibility. Wear alone as a lightweight work trouser for outdoor activities including forestry, tree climbing, landscaping, trekking, hiking and recreational climbing, with no chainsaw protection. Combine with an Arborflex Base and they become a fully certified chainsaw trouser. Choose from the high-performance Pro Range, the Mid Range based upon the popular Breatheflex trouser, the Casual everyday range, or the waterproof Storm range. Own a variety of Skins for your Base and be covered whatever the weather or job in hand.

The 'BASE' is the chainsaw protective layer worn under any of the 'SKINS', turning your work trousers into fully compliant, certified chainsaw trousers. Available in Type A, B and C, all fully certified to BS EN ISO 11393-2:2019 Class 1 (20 m/s). The colour of the bases, including identifying buttons, makes it easy to tell the difference between Base A (Design A, Front protection), Base B (Design A Plus, Front & half back leg protection), and Base C (Design C, all-round protection).

Arborflex Skins Pro
The Arborflex Skin Pro is a high-quality active work trouser. The Skins can be used as stand-alone lightweight climbing or general work trousers, or changed into fully protective chainsaw trousers when worn with an Arborflex Baselayer. Features incredibly resilient, abrasion-resistant panels on the front and ankle, woven with Kevlar fibres for extreme toughness.

A great, affordable choice for a whole range of jobs within the Arb industry and beyond. Choose the Mid Range, based upon our original Breatheflex designs, or one of our Casual designs in a choice of 5 colours. The perfect work trousers for everyday jobs such as clearing brush, stacking logs and landscaping, then add your protective Base for full chainsaw protection if and when required.

Arborflex Storm Skins
The Arborflex Storm Skin is fully waterproof and breathable. It can be worn alone as a standalone work trouser to tackle everyday jobs in inclement weather, or teamed with a Base for the world's first waterproof certified chainsaw trouser. The Hi-Vis Orange Skin conforms fully to EN ISO 20471 and RIS-3279-TOM Issue 2, 2019 for rail.
