Farm Clothing & Waterproof Jackets | Arbortec UK

Heavy-duty Waterproof Farm Clothing for 12-hour Days in British Weather
Heavy-duty waterproof jackets, lightweight rain jackets, warm layers and chainsaw protective trousers: tough, breathable workwear made to keep you dry, warm and protected all day.
Heavy Duty Waterproof Farm Jackets
On the farm, rainwear isn't a luxury. It's daily kit. Our Breathedry® Heavy Duty jackets and smocks are made for long, wet days around livestock and machinery: fully waterproof, breathable so you don't end up in a sweatbox, and tough enough to shrug off brambles, barbed wire and gates.
Extreme Water Repellence
Breathedry® HD fabric keeps the rain out from first feed to last check.
Breathable, Not a Sweatbox
Moisture escapes while you work, so you stay drier inside as well as out.
Heavy-duty Ripstop
Reinforced panels made to survive livestock, machinery and hedges.
A Cheap PVC Coat
It's cheap to buy, but it rips on the first gate, leaves you sweating by mid-morning and rarely lasts the winter. Then you buy another.
An Arbortec Heavy Duty Jacket
It's made to be worn every day, season after season. Breathable, waterproof and tough, it costs less over time and keeps you comfortable while it does.
Made for Real Farm Work
Built for the daily grind: feeding livestock, mending fences and climbing in and out of the cab. Our Heavy Duty jackets are made to stand up to it, day after day.
Lightweight Waterproof Rain Jackets
Made for showery days, spring lambing and summer work, when a Heavy Duty jacket is more than you need. You get Breathedry® waterproof protection in a lighter jacket or smock that's easy to move in.
Wolf Half Zip Warm Sweater
Wear it under your waterproof on frosty mornings. This warm half-zip work jumper is easy to throw on, unzip when you're working hard and zip up when the wind picks up.
TH250 Chainsaw Protective Trousers
Clearing fallen branches, cutting firewood, tidying hedgerows: the saw might only come out now and then, but a slip only has to happen once. Built by the team behind Arbortec, the Treehog TH250 gives you certified chainsaw protection at a sensible price.

Farm Clothing Questions
What is the best waterproof jacket for farm work?
For daily outdoor work in wet weather, our Breathedry® Heavy Duty jackets are made for the job: fully waterproof, breathable and reinforced to cope with livestock, machinery and hedges. If you mainly need a lighter layer for showers, choose one of our lightweight rain jackets instead.
Should I choose a half-zip smock or a full-zip jacket?
A half-zip smock (AT4460) has fewer openings for rain to get in and suits farmers who like a traditional pullover smock. A full-zip jacket (AT4480) is quicker to get on and off, and easier to open up when you're working hard. Both use the same Heavy Duty Breathedry® fabric.
Do I need chainsaw protective trousers if I only use a chainsaw occasionally?
Yes. A chainsaw can cause serious leg injuries in a split second, however often you use one, and UK safety guidance recommends leg protection for all chainsaw work. The Treehog TH250 is certified to BS EN ISO 11393-2:2019 Class 1, giving you proper protection at an affordable price for occasional jobs like clearing branches and cutting firewood.
What is the difference between Arbortec and Treehog?
Treehog is Arbortec's sub-brand for essential, budget-friendly kit, built with the same safety know-how. Choose Treehog for occasional tasks and Arbortec for the gear you wear every day.
Which colours suit farm work?
Olive is a popular choice for farmers, estate managers and gamekeepers, with black and red as alternatives. Hi-vis orange and yellow are ideal near roads, in yards with moving vehicles and for contracting work.
Can I get help with sizing?
Yes. Each product page has a size guide, and our UK customer care team is happy to help you find the right fit. Get in touch.
