How Long have you worked in this industry?

I've worked in the industry since 2020.

 

Favourite climbing system?

 

DRT/Zig Zag but I'd love to get into using SRT with some snazzy climbing bits!

 

What is your favourite tree?

A good old Oak Tree. I love seeing old oaks that have been around for a very long time!

 

Highest tree you have climbed? 

Big? Or a high as my rope allows! If i had to guess i'd say around 30 metres, a lot would class this as a baby climb but for me it's a big achievement until i can top that. 

 

Have you had any close calls? If yes, what happened?

One of my first experiences on spikes, I'd just moved my main line and the next move up I slipped. I was very glad I'd got that line in a bit higher otherwise it would have been a fair way down! I'm still building my confidence in the climbing world and as long as I don't get hurt then I'd class anything like that as a learning experience and a win!

 

What is your hidden talent?

I'm a qualified fencing instructor! (Yes the sword fighting kind)!

 

When you’re not climbing trees what are your other interest/hobbies.?

Previous to climbing trees, i was an outdoor instructor and love anything outdoor activity based! Hiking, rock climbing or even a bit of surfing!
