Introducing the Arbortec Breatheflex Pro Realtree® Chainsaw Trousers – a cutting-edge blend of safety and style. The collaboration with Realtree® to introduce the pioneering pants, marks a significant advancement in chainsaw pants technology. These pants are designed to meet the needs of both professional arborists and occasional chainsaw users, featuring the distinctive Realtree® Edge design in three colour options: Brown, Orange, and Lime. This range provides a flexible and innovative choice for individuals seeking a lifestyle-oriented design, such as those working in agriculture. 

The Breatheflex Pro Realtree® collection shares the same features as the existing Breatheflex Pro range. This innovation became possible through our in-house manufacturing capabilities, setting us apart.

Standards: 
Conforms to: ASTM F1897-20 (2020) – leg protection for chainsaw users in the USA and ASTM F3325 -20 Class C – leg protection for chainsaw users in Canada.

Features and Benefits:

  • Reinforced seams at high tension areas: Stronger build for longer-lasting trousers.
  • Kevlar reinforcement at lower leg: Resistance to abrasion.
  • Downward-facing Pocket Zips: Compatible when wearing a climbing harness.
  • Reinforced lining around ankle: Reduces wear from brash and saw bars.
  • Zipped Cargo and phone pockets: Keeps shavings and dust out.
  • Velcro side adjusters: Adjust the waist size to suit.
  • Elasticated boot lace fastener: Reduces sawdust ingress into boots.
  • Air Vents: Zipped air vent located on the back of the leg, to help reduce the temperature of the trousers while working.

Additional leg sizing: The Breatheflex Pro chainsaw trousers are available in Regular leg 31" and Tall leg 33".

Sizing: Waist sizes range from XS-3XL. For sizes in inches/cm refer to the sizing chart above.

look sick, tricky sizing, hot.

This is my second pair of Arbortec. I have had a pair of the Freestyles for the last season and they have already saved me from the hospital once. I needed a new pair and I'm a sucker for Realtree. I had the same issue with being stuck between sizes as the Freestyle with these standard Breatheflex Pros. I am 5'8" and 170 lbs and wear a 32 waist in every pant which seems like a pretty standard size. For Arbortec the 32 is the extreme for smalls and the beginning for mediums. The mediums are too baggy and long and require a belt (I chose mediums for my Freestyles.) The smalls are extremely tight in the thighs and kaboose but fit well from the knee down. I went with the smalls on this one and will just deal with it since I don't want to wear a belt when wearing my saddle. Also, the little velcro waist adjusters are pretty ineffective on my Freestyles. The smalls are so tight that they don't come into play. My first squat down on the job site I heard something tear in the crotch on day one wearing them. The stretchy gusset was not enough. I have a cyclists build with bigger thighs so maybe this is part of it. when I open the rear vents I have just enough room to work comfortably with a little more give. Speaking of which, these are warm as hell. It's early spring here in Appalachia and even so, they have already been a bit too hot. Summer can be brutal in these if you live in warm/hot climates. Unfortunately I end up wearing my cl***ers on the really hot days. It's a bummer when you roll the dice on an extremely expensive pair of pants and they aren't bang on. But hey...they are Realtree. As for the protection side of the pants, they work. As I mentioned, my Freestyles already saved me a hospital visit once from a silly mistake that put a MS261 to my knee cap.
