Chainsaw trousers by default are heavier than normal, due to the extra layers of protective padding. This is further exacerbated when wearing Type C trousers (with rear protection as well as on the front).
Unfortunately, this can lead to trouser slippage, which is extremely annoying - unless you wear a belt done up really tight, or even better, use a set of these superb quality trouser suspenders.
