The official opening of the Arbortec Innovation Centre (AIC), our new global headquarters, marks one of the most significant milestones in Arbortec Forestwear's history.
Our New HomeA New Home for Innovation
More than our new global headquarters, the AIC is a home for innovation. A place where ideas become products, where decades of experience meet the next generation of thinking and where we'll continue developing the world's best chainsaw apparel and equipment for arborists around the world.
Designed with innovation, collaboration and education in mind, every space within the Arbortec Innovation Centre has been purpose-built for the arboricultural industry. From its state-of-the-art auditorium and dedicated testing laboratory to its expansive indoor and outdoor event spaces, the scale, ambition and attention to detail behind the AIC reflect not only where Arbortec is today, but where we're headed next. The AIC has been designed to support the future of both Arbortec and the wider arboricultural industry.
The Arbortec Innovation Centre represents a significant investment in the future of Arbortec and our commitment to continuing to set the standard in chainsaw apparel and equipment worldwide. More importantly, it allows us to remain closer than ever to the people who Live the TreeLife and are at the heart of everything we do.
The CommunityCelebrating the Global Arbortec Community
To celebrate this milestone, we had the privilege of welcoming the Legends of Arbortec, valued reseller partners and long-standing supporters of the brand through our doors for two exclusive opening events. Seeing familiar faces, industry pioneers and the businesses that have championed Arbortec for so many years together under one roof made the occasion even more special.
With guests travelling from across the globe to join us, the opening events were a true celebration of the global Arbortec community and everything that has shaped the brand over the last three decades. Bringing together ambassadors, reseller partners and industry leaders provided a unique opportunity to celebrate not only how far we've come, but where we're headed next.
The feedback from our guests was overwhelmingly positive. Nick Pott, Managing Director of Arbsites, described the Arbortec Innovation Centre's product development and testing facilities as the best he's seen at any manufacturer he's visited in the last thirty years, high praise from someone who has spent decades visiting manufacturers across the industry and a reflection of the ambition behind the AIC.

Inside the Innovation Centre
During the opening events, guests were given an exclusive insight into what makes Arbortec, Arbortec. From hearing the Arbortec story and our vision for the future, to touring our facilities and meeting the people behind the brand, every element of the experience was designed to showcase the passion, craftsmanship and innovation that drives everything we do.
Herman Palmgren, Managing Director of Arboristbutiken, described the experience as giving guests a true understanding of all the work that goes into the garments, highlighting the value of opening our doors and showcasing the innovation, craftsmanship and expertise behind every Arbortec product.

Visitors explored our in-house testing laboratory, home to machinery found nowhere else in the UK, including our chainsaw cut testing equipment used to rigorously test and refine our products. They spent time with our Product Development team, learning about the engineering and attention to detail behind our collections, including the remarkable 72 individual components that make up a single pair of Arbortec chainsaw trousers. It's this relentless attention to detail that has helped establish Arbortec as the world's leading manufacturer of chainsaw apparel and equipment.
Keith Norman, Managing Director of Sam Turner & Sons, described the laboratory tour as a particular highlight of the day, pointing to the commitment and understanding that supports the product, something he noted the consumer never fully appreciates. He also spoke of his confidence in Arbortec's future and the brand's ongoing commitment to supporting its dealer network.

Every Stage of the Product Journey, Under One Roof
What makes the Arbortec Innovation Centre truly special is that almost every stage of the product journey now happens here. From initial concepts and product development to in-house testing and customer feedback, the AIC gives us the opportunity to innovate faster, challenge ourselves further and continually improve the products we create.
Few brands can say they have their own dedicated testing laboratory. Fewer still can say that it sits within their global headquarters, working hand-in-hand with their Product Development team every single day. The ability to test, develop and refine our products in-house is something we're incredibly proud of and something that will play a significant role in shaping the future of Arbortec.
Whilst our products continue to be manufactured at our own factory in Portugal, every idea, every test and every improvement starts here.
Our PeopleBuilt With TreeLife Professionals in Mind
Most importantly, the people who Live the TreeLife remain at the forefront of everything we do. The professionals who trust our products day in, day out are the reason we continually strive to innovate and raise the bar for chainsaw apparel and equipment worldwide. Their feedback, experiences and expectations have shaped Arbortec for more than three decades, and the AIC allows us to work more closely with the very people we're here to protect and support.
The Arbortec Innovation Centre has been designed with the industry in mind. Whilst it is our global headquarters, it has also been created as a space for the wider arboricultural community to learn, collaborate and innovate for years to come. We have ambitious plans to welcome arborists, industry professionals, partners and customers through our doors for product demonstrations, training events and behind-the-scenes experiences. Continuous feedback from the people who wear our products has always played a vital role in shaping what comes next, and the AIC allows us to bring that process even closer to the people who matter most.
