Arbortec 2025 Product Releases: High-Performance Chainsaw PPE Built for Professionals - Arbortec Forestwear

Arbortec 2025 Product Releases: High-Performance Chainsaw PPE Built for Professionals

Some years bring small updates. A tweak here, a new colour there. 2025 was not one of those years.

Last year, every release had a clear purpose. Make workwear that performs better in the moments that matter most. When you are climbing in the heat. When rain turns from light drizzle to a full downpour. When you need to stay visible on high-risk sites. When your kit needs to move with you, not fight against you.

We listened hard in 2025. To professionals. To climbers. To rail-side teams. To women who have had to compromise with “unisex” fits for far too long. The result is a line-up built for real working days. Practical improvements you can feel. Comfort you notice. Features that make sense on the job.

Arbortec is built on considered design, rigorous development and real-world feedback, creating a kit that performs under pressure and looks sharp doing it. Let others play catch-up whilst we blaze trails.

Here is what launched in 2025, why it matters and who it is built for.

Cool when it counts: the new Vented Trousers (AT4062 US)

Working in the heat is a different kind of hard. It drains energy and impacts focus. That is exactly what the AT4062(US) Arbortec Vented Chainsaw Pants UL Rated were designed to tackle.

Available in Black, Olive and Beige, these trousers deliver reliable protection with a clear upgrade in breathability. Four large vent panels sit on the front and back, positioned to maximise airflow and release heat as you work. On warm days, the difference is immediate. You stay cooler for longer and finish shifts with more left in the tank.

Crucially, this airflow does not come at the expense of toughness. The AT4062 is built for harsh use. Reinforced seams strengthen high-tension areas and extend the life of the trousers through heavy wear. Kevlar reinforcement at the knees improves abrasion resistance for climbing, kneeling and brashing through rough ground.

Flexibility is built in, too. Tree work is constant movement, and kit should never hold you back. An extra-stretch crotch panel supports full-range motion and helps reduce ripping in one of the most demanding areas of any work trousers.

The details are equally considered. Downward-facing pocket zips improve access when wearing a harness. Multiple pockets with YKK zips keep essentials secure. The adjustable waistband helps dial in comfort, while the higher back adds coverage when bending and climbing. An elasticated lace hook keeps the trousers stable at the boot.

Built for: arborists and chainsaw users working in warm conditions, climbers needing maximum mobility and anyone who wants a cooler kit without compromise.

Rail-side ready and built to move: ATHV4075 Breatheflex Pro Rail Spec Trousers

Rail-side environments demand more. More visibility. More compliance. More attention to safety detail. The challenge is meeting those requirements without ending up in stiff site wear that restricts movement.

That is why we launched the ATHV4075 Breatheflex Pro Rail Spec Trousers Design C Class 2 – Hi-Vis Orange.

Designed specifically for the UK rail industry, these trousers conform to RIS-3279-TOM Issue 2 (2019) and EN ISO 20471, ensuring you stay safe, seen and compliant through trackside work. They are also Design C for all-around protection and rated to Class 2 (24 m/s), making them the right choice for higher-risk environments.

What sets the ATHV4075 apart is how it wears. It is built using high-tenacity polymer fabrics that deliver durability without feeling heavy or restrictive. Whether you are moving quickly on the ground, climbing or working in awkward positions, the trousers are designed to move with you.

Visibility is central to the design. Hi-vis orange provides a standout presence on site. Reflective abrasion-resistant panels on the knees and ankles take it further, supporting safety while reinforcing high-wear zones.

Comfort has been pushed forward too. A Kevlar-reinforced crotch combined with ultra-stretch panels helps prevent tears and supports full-range movement. The ATHV4075 also features a new upgraded comfort liner, developed from user feedback. It helps reduce sawdust build-up and discomfort caused by trapped debris or hair, which matters far more than people expect over long hours.

Finish it off with an adjustable waistband, kidney pad support for braces, elasticated boot hooks, and YKK zipped pockets with taped seams, and you have rail trousers that feel purpose-built, not adapted.

Built for: rail-side arborists and outdoor professionals who need Class 2 protection, hi-vis compliance and all-day comfort without restriction.

Waterproof without the sweat: BreatheDry® Full Zip Jackets

Most waterproofs are made to stop rain. Not many are made for arborists. The difference becomes obvious as soon as you start moving.

A proper waterproof for tree work must do two things at once. Keep the weather out and let heat escape. It also needs to work with harnesses, helmets and high-reach movement.

That is the thinking behind our 2025 BreatheDry® Full Zip Waterproof Work Jackets:

Both jackets are certified to EN 343:2019 Class 4,4, the highest level of waterproofing and breathability. In simple terms, they are built to keep you dry without overheating during active work.

A full-length waterproof zip makes the jacket quick to throw on and gives you control over airflow throughout the day. Storage is fully weatherproof too, with three waterproof pockets including an upper chest pocket and two side pockets with separated compartments.

The hood is helmet-compatible, adjustable and includes a wired peak for rain deflection. Cooling features include BreatheDry® vents and underarm pit zips, helping prevent heat build-up during intense work.

The jackets also include side access zips for harness and trouser pocket access, so you can keep the waterproof layer on without losing access to what you need underneath.

Fully taped seams boost weather resistance, while extended storm cuffs and Lycra thumb loops keep sleeves secure during climbing and overhead tasks. A longer back length improves coverage and helps with water runoff in heavy weather.

Choosing between the two is simple. The black AT4420 keeps a clean, professional look. The hi-vis ATHV4420 is designed for environments where visibility is essential, including rail-side work.

Built for: outdoor professionals who need serious waterproofing that stays breathable, practical and comfortable all day.

October 2025: expanding Women’s Fit, built with purpose in Partnership with Forestry England

One of the most important moments of 2025 was not just a new product. It was a statement of intent.

Arbortec already offered women’s fit options previously, including women’s Breatheflex trousers. But October 2025 marked a major expansion of women’s fit across multiple pieces, built with comfort and mobility at the core. This range was developed in partnership with Forestry England, alongside extensive feedback from professional female arborists working across varied environments worldwide. Their insight shaped every decision, from fit and movement to durability and comfort in demanding conditions. The result is a collection that respects how women work on the job, without compromise.

Arboriculture has historically been an industry designed around men, and workwear has often followed. Many women have had to compromise with unisex fits that do not sit correctly, restrict movement or create unnecessary bulk. That impacts comfort, performance and confidence.

The story goes deeper than design. This range is not only designed by women, it is made by women. Every garment is crafted by our female-led team at our Portuguese manufacturing facility, where technical precision meets lived experience. Their knowledge and skill influence every seam, panel and cut, ensuring the finished product performs where it matters most.

“Designed by women, for women” is not a slogan. It is a promise. One that places female arborists at the centre of the design process and reflects Arbortec’s belief that the best workwear is built by listening to the people who wear it.

Women’s Breatheflex Pro Chainsaw Trousers: designed by women, for women

The women’s fit trousers released in October sit within our Breatheflex Pro platform and come in two protection styles and two colourways.

Across the range, the focus is on strength, flexibility and comfort. Kevlar reinforcement protects high-wear zones such as the front and ankle. A Kevlar crotch panel reduces ripping in one of the toughest working areas. Stretch panels support climbing, stepping and long shifts that demand movement in every direction.

A key update is the new comfort liner, developed using customer feedback. It improves the feel of the trousers through long days and helps reduce discomfort caused by trapped debris. Practical features keep it job-ready, including an adjustable waistband with added support, elasticated lace hooks and premium YKK zipped pockets with taped seams.

Choosing between Design A and Design C comes down to preference and work type. Design A provides protection to the front of the leg. Design C provides protection to the front and back.

Built for: women in arboriculture and forestry who want chainsaw trousers that fit properly, move naturally and perform all day.

Women’s Waterproof Jacket: ATHV4420(F)

Rounding out the women’s fit expansion is the ATHV4420(F) Full Zip Waterproof Women’s Work Jacket – Hi-Vis Orange.

This jacket applies the full BreatheDry® platform to a female-specific cut. The result is a waterproof that reduces bulk, supports movement and feels more comfortable through active work, while keeping technical performance and safety compliance intact.

It features maximum waterproofing and breathability with ventilation systems for temperature control. Hi-vis orange fabric and reflective detailing support visibility on high-risk sites including rail-side environments. Waterproof pockets, a helmet-compatible hood and access zips for harness and trouser pockets keep it practical when conditions turn.

Built for: women working in demanding outdoor environments who need hi-vis compliance, weather protection and a fit built properly for the job.

The story of 2025

Looking back, 2025 was not about releasing more products. It was about releasing better ones.

Trousers built for heat that still feel tough enough for hard graft. Railside kit that stays flexible and comfortable. Waterproof jackets that actually breathe. Women’s fit options expanded with purpose, not as an afterthought.

Because the best workwear is not the kit that looks good on a hanger. It is the kit that works when you are tired, wet, sweaty, halfway through a climb and still need to perform at your best.

That was the energy behind every 2025 release. Built for the way you work. Built to support the job. Built to help you do more.
