Customs & Import Fees

1. EU 

Please note that some countries may apply import taxes and duties from €0, while others have a threshold (e.g. €150,00). Charges vary depending on the destination country’s regulations.

• VAT will be charged at your local rate.
• Up to 12% import duty may apply on some products.
• All shipments from UK to Europe will require customs clearance which is normally completed by our carrier, however you should allow an extra 1-2 days on delivery times.

2. USA

• Due to recent changes in the US, all orders, regardless of value, will now be subject to import/duty fees and local/state taxes. For more information, please check with the US Customs and Border Protection Department.

3. Canada 

• All goods are subject to 5% GST.
• Some provinces either charge an additional provincial sales tax (PST), or use a harmonized sales tax (HST) that includes the GST.

4. Australia

• All orders above AUS $1,000 will be subject to import duties.
• This figure can vary depending on the value of the parcel, so please check with the Department of Home Affairs for more information.

5. New Zealand

• All orders above NZD $60 will be subject to import duties
• This figure can vary depending on the value of the parcel.

About Customs Fees:

It is the responsibility of the purchaser to ensure that any customs duties, import taxes, or other charges required by the destination country are paid promptly upon arrival. If these charges are not settled and the shipment is returned to us, we reserve the right to deduct all associated costs, including return shipping fees, storage charges, and administrative fees, from any refund due. In cases where no refund is due (e.g. wholesale/reseller orders), the purchaser remains liable for all incurred costs resulting from the failed delivery.

Refusing to Pay Customs:

If you choose to refuse the customs fee and the parcel is returned back to Arbortec, a shipping & handling fee may be deducted from your refund.
